My daughter had better follow through on her garage sale plans for next weekend since I have torn my house apart getting ready for it. I should have had a garage sale on my own following my divorce and prior to moving but I didn't have it in me at the time. I ABHOR having garage sales. I'd rather donate it all and be done with it.
My grandson made weight for football by the skin of his teeth. He's thrilled. That is one dedicated little boy. He's eaten nothing but healthy food for two or three weeks to lose weight in order to be able to run with the ball.
This morning I was in the backyard and heard a woman scream, "I told you I dont hate you" and then, "I love you please stop!" I felt like I needed to do something but I couldn't tell where the scream had come from. I do not like this neighborhood. I never feel safe here, especially since my house was broken into. I'm going to try to stick it out through the school year and then find a better place.
Ya'll need to enter this contest, and if you win you must invite me. On the off chance I win there's no way in hell I will have it in my own backyard.

Garage sale an odd mixture: BEATING to get accomplished, somehow fun to do, a relief to over with, get extra crap out of your way and extra cashola always- noice.

Chup, IMHO, never fun to do, hate it hate it, but it is nice to have cleared some of the crap out of here. I told daughter she can have my proceeds as long as she disposes of what doesn't sell.
Your neighbourhood scares me and I have never been there. You have a firearm, right?
I hate packing up stuff and/or shuffling it around. A garage sale would drive me bonkers. I think I would like to sell the house with MOST of the contents just to avoid packing.
No ma'am, I had a 9mm but it was too heavy so I gave it to my son in law.
I hope I never have to participate in another garage sale.
