I just returned from a trip back home to Kansas. I absolutely love my brother's backyard. I like nice houses but I could live in a shack if I could open my back door and look at this every day. He's spent a lot of time and hard work getting it to look like this, but it was worth it. He told me he comes home from work and goes straight to the patio and stays out there until bed time. I would too.
Note: I have no clue how to upload and space photos on blogger to have a caption directly beneath the photo.
PS I really should figure out how to take the date stamp off, but it's sometimes helpful, especially when taking photos of children, for remembering how old the children were at the time the photo was taken.

Wow now that is a little peice of heaven! I will share that shack with you for that backyard too!! Umm is he single?? (heheheheh Gia is always thinking!)
Haha Gia! We think alike. No, he's been married for around 28 years.
Very, very nice. I've got a refrigerator box I could put out there.
He's got a frig handy and full of beer just around the corner from the deck. It really is beautiful, my photos don't do it justice.
Very nicely landscaped. Bet it's a great stress reliever.
He has a knack for it, C. Numb.
Wow! That is truly a backyard oasis. With a mosquito net and a hammock, I could live back there...
Me too, Don!
Comfortably Numb, I could have sworn you had a blog the other day when I clicked on you. Now that I have time to read it, it's gone?
Ok, dear YM, you know I *love* your brother's backyard!!! That is gorgeous. [happy smile]
Obi, I knew you of all people would love and appreciate it. His yard has been on the tour of gardens.
I thought of you recently when I heard a rumor that Stuart Nursery here in Weatherford is on the market. If I had a cool million, I'd jump at the chance myself.
WOW!!!!
Loving that glimpse of heaven you shared with us! I wonder if I can duplicate a mini sized version of that in my back yard.
I don't know why you couldn't, Kat. It's my idea of heaven too.
Put it on Barry's honey-do list!
