Insectacidal Tendencies

How have I missed these all summer long? And what do I do about them now that I know they're there? I bought a can of wasp spray but I need a strategy for using it. Do I just point and shoot, then run like hell? Are they going to swarm and chase me or are they going to drop and die? I'm askeered. Look how big those suckers are, especially the one under the awning! Do you think the property management people will do it? Am I crazy for not wanting to kill them? I hate killing things. If I find a spider in the house, 9 times out of 10 I catch him and put him outside, but these guys scare the bejeebus out of me.

I guess I could imagine the face of Dana the snake on each tiny little waspy face as I point and spray.

Todays wasper sprays are not as powerful as those from days gone by- they don't all die immediately like they were struck down by God. Plan your escape, hose 'em down and RUN.

No doubt I will be running. I just hope I'm not followed!

Just reach up there and yank them down, wimp. If you get stung, just rub some dirt on it.

Jarhead, they're still there. I AM a wimp.

Spray. Run. I do it all the time. =)
