The Forgotten Man - Jon McNaughton
I received the link to this video in email this morning. If you go to the artist's website you can click on the painting and roll over each person or object in the painting with your mouse and see an explanation of who/what the person or object is and what each represents. It's interesting from an artistic as well as an editorial viewpoint.

Powerful painting and message. I tend to look at paintings and try and read in to it what the painter was thinking while painting. Same with photographs. In this most of the Presidents are looking away to the left except the ones on the right with Roosevelt. Wonder why that is. Also with Obama standing arms crossed on the US Constitution says it all. The flag at half mast also displays a message. Thanks for post.
